The Dolce hotel is situated in Sitges, Spain, a few miles south of Barcelona. It has all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Each room has a king-size double bed, balcony (with views over the Mediterranean sea and Sitges or views of the four pools), huge 55" TV and a safe.
The hotel looks like a huge, white fortress, especially when viewed from about a mile away. The rooms you can see are outward facing and have spectacular views from their balconies.
Here you can see the hotel accommodation and the palm trees lit by moonlight.
My room was on the other side facing the Mediterranean sea.
The Dolce hotel is quite spectacular at night.
Here you can see two of the four pools illuminated by blue lights.
The Dolce hotel has four pools. One is quite long for swimming and the other three are small and shallow - just right for young children.
The lifeguard is on duty from 10:00 to 18:00 (under the white umbrella). Towels are available for free to anyone who wants them.
You are never too far away from a bar. The brown building serves cold drinks and alcohol during the day and if that fails there is another bar on the left side of the hotel.
This is the long swimming pool.
On the top left you can see the lifeguard's white umbrella and on the right are spectacular views of the Mediterranean sea.
Behind is the bar and restaurant.
Here is a typical view from the balcony of the out-facing hotel rooms.
In the distance is a small yacht on the Mediterranean sea and in the foreground is a gold course.
